Tithe Barn Wedding: Amy & Sam

Winter weddings are always fun. Especially when they take place at Tithe Barn, Bolton Abbey.

Shot in February 2019, Amy and Sam’s wedding went down on a sunny afternoon, with Studio Lester commissioned to capture video throughout the day. From my first meeting with the happy couple, I knew their big day would be something special. And as the video below shows, I wasn’t wrong!

Complete with exposed wooden beams, floor to ceiling windows (so much natural light!) and stunning views of Bolton Abbey, this was my first shoot at the Tithe Barn - a wedding venue less than hour’s drive from Saltaire - and I’m already looking forward to the next time I’m asked to shoot there.

Shot in a documentary style, Amy and Sam’s wedding started at 13:00 under glorious blue skies and Yorkshire sun. The lighting on the day remained perfect throughout, illuminating both the bride and groom’s smiles as they soaked-up the big occasion.
